Intake Support Representative (Local Candidates Only)

Important: This position is open to local candidates only . Candidates must have a local address and their own reliable vehicle. The client will not consider non-local applicants.

Position Overview:

The Intake Support Representative is responsible for processing referrals accurately and efficiently before a patient's first visit. This role ensures all referral information is complete, verifies required documentation, and supports data entry and scheduling functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in a medical office.
• Minimum 1 year of full-time data entry experience.
• High school diploma.
• Working knowledge of health insurance coverage requirements.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Active, current driver's license.
• Must have own vehicle.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Home Health Scheduling experience highly preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• CORI/SIR background searches required and must be completed before the assignment can begin.
• Complete work history required.
• Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required.
• Candidate's permanent address must be included in the profile.
• All requested time off (RTO) and scheduling requests must be submitted with the initial application; requests made after submission or offer acceptance may result in denial or rescinded offers.
• Candidates must be reachable by phone and have voicemail set up.

Assignment Details:

• Day shift position.
• 8-hour non-billable orientation.
• Overtime and holiday pay multiplier: 1.25x
• No call, callback, or charge responsibilities.
