Job Description

Salary: $107,500 - 204,500 per year Requirements:

  • We require a bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, with STEM preferred, plus at least 8 years of engineering experience.
  • We require experience working with multidisciplinary technical or engineering teams.
  • We require experience operating within an Agile organization.
  • We prefer an advanced degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • We prefer prior experience as a Release Train Engineer, Value Stream Engineer, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Project Manager, or Program Manager.
  • We prefer Scaled Agile certification, such as SAFe SPC, or an equivalent credential.
  • We prefer experience with Earned Value management, with Agile EV experience being a plus.
  • We prefer experience in a multi-disciplined product development environment.
  • We prefer strong proficiency with Agile ALM tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps Server.
  • We prefer the ability to influence and build relationships internally and externally to engineering.
  • We prefer the ability to distinguish between being Agile and doing Agile.
  • We prefer demonstrated success completing complex assignments independently and developing cross-functional solutions.
  • We require U.S. citizenship and an active, transferable U.S. government security clearance before the start date, with Secret clearance active on day 1.
Responsibilities:
  • We manage and optimize the flow of value across the program using tools such as Program and Value Stream Kanban boards and information radiators.
  • We foster strong employee and team experiences by creating a healthy environment and guiding teams to meet goals.
  • We evaluate the programs agility and drive ongoing improvement.
  • We apply Agile software development methods, automation, and continuous integration practices.
  • We promote continuous integration at the team and program levels, along with communities of practice focused on scaling Agile, Lean, Engineering, and Quality.
  • We coach leaders, Agile roles, and teams on Lean-Agile culture, practices, and mindset.
  • We strengthen collaboration across Agile Release Trains and value streams.
  • We work with leadership, engineering, and shared services to align strategy with execution.
  • We support effective incremental program planning by ensuring readiness of vision and work item backlogs.
  • We consolidate team PI objectives into program objectives and share them for visibility and transparency.
  • We establish and communicate the annual program cadence calendar.
  • We coordinate recurring synchronization meetings at multiple program levels.
  • We help teams make economic decisions by facilitating capability estimation.
  • We build program-level retrospective improvement roadmaps to identify and implement process enhancements.
  • We measure and track program performance and capability completion.
  • We escalate and monitor program impediments.
  • We facilitate dependency resolution and support early risk identification and mitigation.
  • We report status to program and release management.
  • We help structure program teams for effective execution, including input on resourcing to address bottlenecks.
  • We attend system demonstrations.
