We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes.

Position Details

We are currently looking for a Chinese Teacher for one of our clients in Islip, NY.

• Course Type: General
• Format: one-to-one
• Total Hours: 50 (fifty) |    Session length: two-hour
• Location: Bayport Blue Point Library or the teacher's (your) office/home in Islip, NY
• Student Level: Beginner
• Schedule: twice per week, on any weekday at around 3pm.
• Start Date: in May, 2026
• Motivation: "enrolled at University as a three language major and has chosen Chinese as one of them."

Ideal Candidate

• Be a native Chinese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
• Have a valid work permit/visa
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location

Conditions

• Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
• Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
• Freelance, part-time position
• We are not able to sponsor visas
