Job Title: Weekend Shift Assembly Mechanic Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Weekend Shift Assembly Mechanic Supervisor to oversee our weld department. This role requires experience in mechanics/ heavy assembly, with a preference for candidates with 5-7+ years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee the assembly department operations during the weekend shift.
• Ensure high-quality electro-mechanical assembly practices.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide the assembly process.
• Coordinate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing processes.

Essential Skills

• 5-7+ years of welding experience.
• Proficiency mechanical assembly and fabrication would be a plus.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in assembly both mechanical and electrical.
• Ability to work with stainless steel and mechanics.
• Familiarity with tape measure use and structure assembly.

Work Environment

Work in an open warehouse environment with a focus on manufacturing. Initial training will be on the first shift for up to a month.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ringgold, GA.

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $37.00/hr.
