Bassett Healthcare Network , a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University that is a culturally connected, engaging, and progressive academic health system in central New York, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team.

Bassett Healthcare Network is a rural-integrated health care system that serves communities throughout an eight county region, covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The network includes a Primary Hospital that is a Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center, a secondary Hospital, and three critical access hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school - based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

Job Summary

Join an NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home practice with an established group of Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians.

1. Outpatient practice, Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
2. Provides comprehensive medical care for patients 18 and above
3. Team-Based care delivery model
4. We use fully integrated EPIC inpatient and ambulatory EMR.
5. Administrative time prorated based on FTE
6. Dedicated nursing and administrative staff
7. Ramp up schedule based on level of experience
8. Preceptorship opportunities available
9. On-Call during business hours for practice location on a rotating basis.
10. Salary Range: $117,000 - $145,000 . This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
11. Sign-on Bonus Up to $50,000

Job Qualifications

1. National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
2. Experience preferred
3. NYS Licensure
4. BLS Certification Required
5. DEA Required
