Senior Accountant- Japanese Bilingual Required

Location: Gardena, CA (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)

Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt

Salary: $90,000 – $115,000 (DOE)

We are a Japanese accounting firm seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Senior Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals with 3–5 years of experience who are looking to grow their career in a collaborative and flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting services for clients, including financial reporting and analysis
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
• Handle general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies
• Communicate with clients regarding financial matters and reporting
• Collaborate with internal team members and support junior staff as needed

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience

  (audit, public accounting, consulting, or in-house accounting)

• Experience in public accounting or audit is preferred
• Experience in a Big 4 or similar public accounting firm is highly preferred
• CPA license is not required; however, CPA candidates or those with relevant coursework are highly preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Language Requirement

• Japanese-English bilingual required
• Native-level Japanese preferred
