Job Description

Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. is on the searching for an enthusiastic Safety Coordinator to join our team! In this crucial role, you will assist in workplace safety, ensuring that our employees are protected and empowered to perform at their best. You willl work closely with various departments to implement safety protocols, conduct training sessions, and foster a culture of safety throughout the organization. Your efforts will directly contribute to minimizing risks and promoting a proactive approach to safety. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing, and monitoring safety programs and policies, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Provide safety training and resources to new and existing employees, fostering a culture of safety awareness.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and making recommendations for preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with management to promote continuous improvement in safety practices and performance.
  • Maintain safety documentation, records, and compliance reports.
  • Engage with employees to promote a positive safety culture and encourage safe work practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and changes in regulations related to workplace safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree Preferred but not required.
  • 1-3 years related experience preferred in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, 30 hour OSHA course required.
  • DOT RCRA certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to effectively address safety concerns.
  • Ability to develop and deliver engaging training sessions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software.

Compensation $60,000 to $70,000 annually DOE
