Title: Procedural Physician Assistant – Interventional Radiology Location: Upper East Side Salary Range: $120,000.00 – $146,700.00 Position Summary At the Weill Cornell Medicine Division of Interventional Radiology, we are internationally recognized for our expert, compassionate care to our patients. We provide the highest level of service, starting with the initial visit through follow‑up and recovery. We are currently seeking a Procedural Physician Assistant with a Radiologic Technologist (RT) license. The Physician Assistant is responsible for coordination and direct patient care of patients in an outpatient setting, with some inpatient coordination. This position performs medical histories, physical exams, ECGs and other clinical care and documents all findings appropriately. The Physician Assistant will perform procedures such as fluoroscopy and CT guided interventional radiology. This role is a medical provider who is able to diagnose, manage and create treatment plans, and prescribe medications under the delegated autonomy of their supervising physician. Job Responsibilities In both an outpatient and inpatient setting, provides clinical services and care in conjunction with supervising physician. Coordinates care of established patients: coordinates the ongoing care of established patients ensuring that diagnostic testing and sub‑specialty consultations and all follow‑up appointments are completed on a timely basis. Where applicable, assists physician in surgeries and/or procedures. Obtains initial histories and performs physical examinations, documents clinical findings in patient medical record, and develops and implements plan of care in conjunction with supervising physician. Issues prescriptions for drugs, devices and immunizations as indicated. Provides health education counseling to patients and families, answering questions about disease and treatment plan.
