The Department of Radiation Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX is recruiting for a position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. Physicians are anticipated to take part in all facets of the clinical care, research, and educational mission of the College. Rank and salary based upon experience. This position would focus on Breast and Gynecologic Cancers and the applicant would be expected to participate in the HDR brachytherapy practice. This is a robust gynecologic practice treating >100 patients per year across 4 physician providers and 2 health systems both equipped with new Varian Bravos units. Candidates must have completed their residency in an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology program and/or fellowship in an accredited US training program and have a track record of excellence in clinical care and research.

Baylor College of medicine is a premier academic medical school ranked in the top tier for research and primary care in the US. The Dan L. Duncan Cancer Center is an NCI designated Comprehensive Cancer Center (one of 2 in Houston and 3 in Texas) harboring SPORE grants in both Breast Cancer and Lymphoma while BCM is also home to the Human Genome Sequencing Center. BCM has the highest NIH grant dollars of any center in Texas. A robust research enterprise is available with active participation in NRG, SWOG, and COG.
