MICROBIOLOGY LABORATORY ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR

LOCATION: MALAGA (ARVIN, CA.)

SHIFT: SWING (Tue-Thurs: 4:00PM-12:30AM- Fri: 2:00PM-10:30PM- Sat: 9AM-5:30PM)

REPORTS TO: MICROBIOLOGY LAB SUPERVISOR

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Microbiology Laboratory Assistant Supervisor responsible for displaying leadership skills for the day-to-day lab operations as well as provide administrative support to the Microbiology Laboratory. What you will need:

• High School diploma or Associate degree.
• Some background knowledge or experience of working in a lab, preferably microbiology lab.
• Computer skills and ability to utilize standard Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Must have strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
• Must be able to distinguish differences in color, with or without accommodation.
• Self-starter and ability to track and maintain project process independently.
• Ability to maintain high quality standards with minimal supervision and to bring urgent matters to the attention to proper personnel for immediate resolution.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures, safety information, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Strong planning and organizational skills and proactive work initiative to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
• Ability to work daily overtime.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish.
• Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen.

Total Rewards: $20.75 - $26.00 / Hour

• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
