Overview
We are seeking a Medical Physicist to join a high-performing radiation oncology program in Richmond, Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced treatment technologies in a collaborative clinical environment focused on precision, safety, and innovation.

Responsibilities
Ensure safe and accurate delivery of radiation therapy treatments
Perform calibration, quality assurance, and maintenance of radiation therapy equipment
Support treatment planning and dose calculations in collaboration with radiation oncologists
Conduct routine and specialized QA procedures for linear accelerators and associated systems
Participate in commissioning of new equipment and implementation of advanced technologies
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and radiation safety protocols
Provide technical guidance and support to clinical staff
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and clinical program development
Required
Master’s degree in Medical Physics or related field
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in radiation oncology (or completion of residency)
Preferred
Board certification or board eligibility (ABR or equivalent)
Experience with advanced radiation therapy techniques and technologies
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance standards
