JOB OVERVIEW

As an Investment Analyst at Sterk Financial Services, you will play a pivotal role in the ongoing management of investment accounts through analysis, trade execution, and other supporting projects. This position requires strong analytical skills, familiarity with CFA principles and practices, and the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute trading transactions and perform trade checking including contribution trading allocation, withdrawal trading analysis, and reallocation decisions
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in all trade activities
  • Deliver continuous support for investment accounts, including fund closures, conducting fund research, optimizing share class utilization, and additional related services
  • Managed account project coordination – Quarterly 2% cash check; annual capital gains impact review; annual gain/loss harvesting
  • Manage specific client follow ups – example DCA’s, limit orders, systematic withdrawals
  • Execution of tracking investment performance on annuities, managed accounts, funds and stocks
  • Develop and update trading models
  • Oversee process maintenance
  • Support research and analysis of investment opportunities

  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges

REQUIREMENTS

  • CFA candidate preferred but not required
  • Series 7 & 66
  • 3-5 years of experience in the financial sector
  • Proficient in Word & Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to pass background check

COMPENSATION

We offer one of the most flexible and competitive compensation plans in the area.

  • Salary commensurate with skills, knowledge, and experience. Salary range $70,000 – $130,000
  • Benefits include health care, vacation, employer matching retirement contributions and early out two Fridays per month.
