Job Description

Join a collaborative and forward-thinking HR team as an HR Recruiter & Coordinator. The HR Recruiter & Coordinator will play a key part in the full recruitment cycle, onboarding, compliance, and event planning, contributing directly to the success and growth of the organization. Responsibilities

  • Actively source and attract qualified candidates by attending career fairs, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes, conducting phone screenings, and performing reference checks as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions, industry associations, and other organizations to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Implement effective and innovative recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates, particularly within the construction industry.
  • Collaborate with company managers to understand hiring needs and support recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Ensure compliance with HR regulations and company policies throughout all hiring practices.
  • Manage the company’s performance evaluation platform and coordinate hourly employee performance reviews.
  • Work with the Safety Department to assist with onboarding orientation and track employee training courses.
  • Coordinate and execute engaging company events to enhance team collaboration, employee morale, and workplace culture.
  • Oversee event logistics, vendor management, budgeting, and creative event design.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong candidate development, interviewing, assessment, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in utilizing social media, blogs, career fairs, job sites, and other resources for candidate sourcing.
  • Knowledge of compliance with laws and regulations related to online sourcing, staffing, and hiring practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work occasional after-hours or weekends as needed.

Compensation

Salary Range: $60,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience.
