In this energetic role, you'll be the heartbeat of our dog daycare, ensuring each furry guest receives top-tier attention, love, and safety. We are looking for an organized and motivated individual to join our team for our dog daycare and boarding program, and have an immediate opening for one part-time person for daytime/evening and weekends. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to combine your animal handling skills with your desire to make a positive impact on pets and their owners alike.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of dogs in the daycare, ensuring safe and enjoyable play sessions.
• Assist with pet grooming, feeding, and basic care tasks to maintain overall pet well-being. Monitor dog health and behavior, recognizing signs of distress or illness.
• Laundry, dishes, and scrubbing down boarding suites and play areas to ensure the environment is kept fresh and clean are all major parts of the work.
• Provide excellent customer service by updating pet owners on their dog's day and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Perform heavy lifting when necessary to manage supplies or assist with kennel setup and cleaning.
• Giving baths and nail trims are also a regular responsibility.

Experience

• Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or kennel work is highly desirable but not required.
• Strong customer service skills are essential for building trust with pet owners and providing exceptional care.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods is required to support daily operations.
