Summary

The Finance Director is a highly visible position working with all levels within ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages reporting directly to the EVP of Finance with a small team reporting underneath. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the monthly, quarterly, and yearly internal and external reporting processes for the business. The financial planning and analysis process includes financial plans, measurement of key performance indicators, executive level reporting, and the analysis of financial trends.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Financial Planning & Analysis, Operations Finance, & Commercial Finance functions within the accounting and finance functions
  • Work directly with the Controllers group supporting all aspects including strategy, entries, monthly and year-end closes, audits, and treasury in accordance with GAAP
  • Lead the consolidated financial planning process, including the annual budget, short and long-term forecasts, and capital requirements
  • Work closely in conjunction with the President and other members of senior leadership to develop and manage longer term financial and operational strategic plan measures
  • Operate as an internal and external business partner providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership and support to all levels of the business including senior leadership and its partners including the revenue growth management team as well as the sales and operating teams
  • Active participant with the Coca-Cola system pillar organizations such as NAOU Finance, CONA Finance Committees, National Product Supply Groups, Business Services of North America, etc.
  • Responsible as a strategic partner to oversee the Coca-Cola franchise programs such as revenue sharing, sub-bottler requirements, and funding with Coca-Cola
  • Responsible for financial presentations and memos for all levels of management including the Board of Directors regarding performance, plans, forecasts and strategic plans
  • Continuously develop and enhance high impact financial performance and KPI reporting for various business needs such as labor, incentives, COGS, etc. while delivering process improvements to continue the objectives of standardization, efficiencies, & effectiveness
  • Manage the continued evolution of budgeting, forecasting, and modeling tools driving requirements for enhancements of the financial planning and business intelligence systems
  • Partner with IT to drive standardization and development of business intelligence reporting, adhering to requirements and driving better actionable data visibility across organization
  • Oversee ROI analysis tools such a discounted cash flow models on capital and business investments
  • Oversee, coach, mentor and develop the finance and accounting team to drive continuous improvement
  • Assist in various ad-hoc projects such as commodity hedging, RFP reviews, consultant collaboration, etc.
  • Other FP&A projects as assigned by the EVP of Finance and President

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience in SAP, HANA, SQL, and PowerBI
  • Critical thinker with the ability to analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Ability to succinctly summarize complex financial analysis and timely present key findings and recommendations to senior management for decision making purposes
  • Capability to manage projects across cross-functional teams to pursue opportunities and problem solve
  • Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills needed to communicate with a wide span of audiences
  • Prior experience managing direct reports strongly preferred
