Nursing Vault Plus Staffing is seeking compassionate and resilient Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team for per diem opportunities with our client, Daymark Recovery Services .

Patient Observation: Monitor and document patient behavior, mood, and interactions to ensure safety in a crisis recovery environment.
Clinical Support: Measure and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temp) and assist with medical screenings, including drug screens and TB testing.
Crisis Assistance: Work alongside RNs and LPNs to provide therapeutic support and help de-escalate patients in acute distress.
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and meals while encouraging independence in a recovery setting.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe, ligature-free environment and ensure all patient documentation meets North Carolina state standards.
Certification: Must hold an active and unencumbered CNA I or CNA II certification in the state of North Carolina.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: 1+ year of experience in behavioral health, mental health, or substance abuse recovery is preferred.
Skills: Strong therapeutic communication skills and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure or crisis situations.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
Clearance: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
