Job Description

Role: Bookkeeper

Pay : $75,000 - $80,000 / year

Benefits:  Benefits include company covered healthcare, 401k match, and 15 days PTO.

Queens based real estate company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with a minimum of 5 years experience in a real estate office. The role requires knowledge and experience in payroll (preferably paychex), journal entries, bank reconciliations, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

Duties

  • Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries and financial statements
  • Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
  • Prepare and review bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately reflected in financial records.
  • Assist in special projects as required, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Process hi volume bi weekly payrolls

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of debits and credits, journal entries, and accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Proficiency in Yardi and Real Page similar accounting software is highly desirable. a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to generate comprehensive financial reports and communicate findings effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
